First the town of Arjeplog (pop 3,100 ), near the arctic circle in northern Sweden offers all comers 25,000 SWkronor (($US4,000)  per person or 100,000 SWkronor per family to move there.

 

Now, Hamilton Island, off the Great Barrier Reef is advertising for "the best job in the world", $105,000 to spend six months on the Great Barrier Reef island scuba diving, snorkeling and hiking and enjoy at least 25 nearby island resorts, as well as blogging and chatting with tourists and news reporters.
